Complete step-by-step tutorial on how to download, extract, and install PC games from PakGame.app

Before You Start

Required Software

  • WinRAR or 7-Zip (for extraction)
  • DirectX (latest version)
  • Visual C++ Redistributables
  • Updated Graphics Drivers

System Requirements

  • Sufficient storage space (2-3x game size)
  • Administrator access
  • Stable internet connection

Installation Steps

Download the Game

Browse our game collection and find the game you want to download. Click on the game to view its details page.

Download Tips:

  • • Choose "Compressed" version to save bandwidth
  • • Use a download manager (IDM, FDM) for faster speeds
  • • Make sure you have enough storage space
  • • Don't close browser until download completes

Extract the Downloaded Files

After download completes, you'll have a RAR or ZIP file. You need to extract it before installation.

Extraction Steps:

  1. 1. Right-click on the downloaded RAR/ZIP file
  2. 2. Select "Extract Here" or "Extract to [folder name]"
  3. 3. Wait for extraction to complete (may take 10-30 minutes)
  4. 4. Open the extracted folder

Important Note:

If you don't have WinRAR or 7-Zip installed, download and install one of them first. WinRAR is recommended for best compatibility.

Run the Setup/Installer

Open the extracted folder and look for the setup file (usually named setup.exe, install.exe, or similar).

Installation Steps:

  1. 1. Right-click on setup.exe
  2. 2. Select "Run as Administrator"
  3. 3. Follow the on-screen installation instructions
  4. 4. Choose installation directory (preferably on SSD)
  5. 5. Wait for installation to complete
  6. 6. Do NOT run the game yet if crack/patch is needed

💡 Pro Tip:

Install games on your SSD (if available) for faster loading times. Make sure you have 2-3x the compressed file size as free space for extraction and installation.

Apply Crack/Patch (If Needed)

Some games require a crack or patch to be applied. Check if there's a "Crack" folder in the extracted files.

How to Apply Crack:

  1. 1. Open the "Crack" or "Fix" folder
  2. 2. Copy all files inside
  3. 3. Navigate to game installation directory
  4. 4. Paste and replace files when prompted
  5. 5. Confirm "Replace" if asked

Antivirus Warning:

Your antivirus might flag crack files as threats. This is a false positive. Add the game folder to your antivirus exclusion list before applying crack.

Launch and Play the Game

You're all set! Now you can launch and enjoy your game.

How to Launch:

  • • Double-click desktop shortcut (if created)
  • • Or navigate to game installation folder
  • • Run the game .exe file
  • • Configure graphics settings on first launch
  • • Enjoy your game!

Common Issues & Solutions

Game won't start or crashes on launch+

Solutions:

  • Run as Administrator
  • Install DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributables
  • Update graphics drivers
  • Disable antivirus temporarily
  • Check if crack was applied correctly
Missing DLL files error+

Solutions:

  • Install Visual C++ Redistributables (all versions)
  • Download the specific DLL file and place in game folder
  • Reinstall DirectX
Extraction failed or corrupted files+

Solutions:

  • Download the file again
  • Update WinRAR/7-Zip to latest version
  • Check if all parts are downloaded (for multi-part archives)
  • Disable antivirus during extraction
Low FPS or performance issues+

Solutions:

  • Lower graphics settings in-game
  • Update graphics drivers
  • Close background applications
  • Check if your PC meets minimum requirements
  • Install game on SSD for better performance
